Books about Srila Prabhupada:
Satsvarupa Dasa Goswami, the former editor-in-chief of BACK TO GODHEAD, has written a six-volume biography of Srila Prabhupada entitled “Srila Prabhupada-lilamrita.” (Despite the Sanskrit title, the book is written in English.) He has also written “He Lives Forever” and several other short books about Srila Prabhupada and his teachings.
Tamal Krishna Goswami, another leading disciple of Srila Prabhupada’s, composed a drama about Srila Prabhupada’s last days, called “Prabhupada Antya-lila: The Final Pastimes of Srila Prabhupada.” Apart from the deep and intimate depiction, told by one who was there, the work is noteworthy for being an English drama written in adherence to complex rules for Sanskrit dramatic composition.
Hari Sauri Dasa, who served for more than a year as Srila Prabhupada’s assistant and who now resides in Alachua, is writing a multi-volume memoir called “A Transcendental Diary.” So far, three volumes have appeared.
